Being BOLD
Summer 2010 was amazing. A true challenge. A true experience.
During summer 2010, I interned for Google in their Ann Arbor office as a member of their Dedicated Client Services Team Canada. I was able to work on numerous projects for this wonderful company and develop new and old skills.
As part of my adventures I was able to visit:
Google NYC
Google Toronto
Google Mt. View
Google Ann Arbor
Chicago, IL
Boston/Cambridge, MA
West Hartford, CT
Bloomington, IL
San Francisco, CA
Austin, TX
Detroit, MI/Waterford, MI
Harvard SVMP
This summer I was exclusively selected to attend a one week program at Harvard Business School known as Harvard SVMP (Summer Venture in Management Program). As a representative of Google, I was able to meet and work with 69 students from across the nation to read, analyze and discuss 13 case studies using the renowned Harvard case study method.
This week was truly transformational week allowing me to learn from the most passionate professors in the world and the most driven students in the country. Being at HBS pushed me to consider the Fulbright grant among other options for post-graduation and truly posed the challenge of what I wanted to do with my "one wild and precious life"
